Elizabeth's Tea Dress- I just got this. Things about it I loved: The fabric texture (like Sam's Talent Show dress) and color ( soft blue), the lace pattern and mob cap, and the removable fichu (which I didn't know was removable!), the matching slippers. Things I don't like about it: it is too short for a colonial dress and the apron is permanently attached. It would have had more play value if the apron was a separate piece and you could mix and match the apron and fichu. Overall: B+/A-

I'm getting E's summer outfit tomorrow through UPS so I'll post a review then.

Sam's Play Dress- I have the PM version and I don't know if there's been any changes, but I love mine. It's very simple and I love that it isn't pink or overly frilly so Sam can be comfortable when she plays. The pinafore is darling. A

Josefina's outfits- I don't have these right now, but I did before I sold off most of my stuff last summer. The Feast Day outfit is lovely and I really like it- I think it's much better in person than in the catalog. The riding dress is OK, but just isn't my favorite style. But it seemed well made to me, the colors are great on Josie, and the boots and vest are very cute. I LOVE the hat! I'd give both an A

Kit's Tree House- I'd get this before it's gone if you like it. The skirt could be a heavier material for fall (and it wrinkles kind of easily- I'd have preferred a skirt like Molly's meet one), but the sweater and hat are very cute and soft. I like that so many of Molly and Kit's clothes are separates so you can create a lot of outfits with a relatively small wardrobe. A-

I'm not sure if this is a new thing, but my Elizabeth's Tea Lesson Outfit came with a card that says "This outfit includes very delicate lace accents on the apron and cuffs- so please handle them carefully! I have Josefina's riding dress. I love it! It looks gorgeous on Josie. It's wonderful quality. The hat is very cute- I live the hair like braid that goes around it. I can take pics- do you want them?

Sam spends most of her life in her blue play dress. I just adore it. It is very practical. Mine is one of the first as I got it just after it came out and it is just beautiful.

The only two outfits you listed that we currently own are Samantha's Play Dress and Kit's Treehouse Outfit.

I highly recommend both.

I fell in love with Samantha's Play Dress long before we ever even had Samantha. It reminds me of the dresses the girls wear on the cover of All of a Kind Family, which was one of my favorite childhood books. Samantha looks adorable in this dress. You can even put the pinafore over her other outfits.

The catalog pictures of Kit's Treehouse Outfit do not do it justice. The sweater and hat are just beautiful and look darling on Kit. The skirt is also nice. As someone else mentioned, it is great for mixing and matching.

I have actually seen (and touched) Elizabeth's Tea Dress. My daughter got this for her birthday along with Elizabeth, but we sent the whole collection back. I personally think the dress makes her look like an old lady, similar to Martha Washington.
